Verntuzo : Buena tarde
charliedontsurf : Let's give her time to grow and prosper in her personality deficits
CaptainJack : hola jules
sonvzvezdnuyunoc : Bill is right, they seem to think a tutor is some kind of magician
BillMcneal : hi vetu
charliedontsurf : hola Vern
sonvzvezdnuyunoc : nah i dislike being a kindergarten therapist lol
Verntuzo : que hay ?
BillMcneal : From Middle English tutour, borrowed from Old French tuteur (French tuteur), from Latin tutor (“a watcher, protector, guardian”)
charliedontsurf : youtu.be/OS-RB-goZqk
charliedontsurf : So is Adams the new AJ?
charliedontsurf : youtu.be/OS-RB-goZqk
Verntuzo : Tiene el 666
charliedontsurf : OK I"m out...later all......
BillMcneal : it's just us now vetu
sonvzvezdnuyunoc : lmfao luke
sonvzvezdnuyunoc : jon left fast
BillMcneal : mormons don't like delays
Verntuzo : I was watching that video
Verntuzo : I was a child when I watched that movie
sonvzvezdnuyunoc : wheres paula?
BillMcneal : i never watched it
BillMcneal : pursuing justice
Verntuzo : I dont know, she must is drinking a mate
CaptainJack : brushing up on her elitist Latin yo creo
CaptainJack : :)
sonvzvezdnuyunoc : who in their sane mind would want to be a judge? somebody who thinks they're second to god? lol
sonvzvezdnuyunoc : being a detective, being closer to truth must be exciting
Verntuzo : Bill wants to know where norah is
CaptainJack : hmmm, careful, there are judges aqui tambien, lol
sonvzvezdnuyunoc : but thinking youre the only one able to make a right decision - and having right to do so - concerning human's life
BillMcneal : haha jacko
BillMcneal : somebody has to bring justice
sonvzvezdnuyunoc : well, you mean "justice"
BillMcneal : technically judges only evaluate a case according to law, not according to what they think is good or bad
CaptainJack : thats how hitler started thinking I guess :)
BillMcneal : actually, remove the "technically", that's all they do
sonvzvezdnuyunoc : there's a fairly big share of subjectivity in their job
CaptainJack : few judges live in the real world
sonvzvezdnuyunoc : lmao Cap
BillMcneal : not really, attorneys present their case and the judge evaluates them according to law, if an attorney misses an opportunity that is allowed to benefit their client, it's their fault
CaptainJack : most were elitist from birth
BillMcneal : it's the only way a judge can be impartial
BillMcneal : there's a case right now, very interesting one, in the us, where a woman is being tried for indecent exposure for being topless in her own house in front of her stepchildren
CaptainJack : Bankers steal millions and walk, someone steals to feed a family and they go to jail
sonvzvezdnuyunoc : what about controversial cases when people skills of attorny and prosecutos play a big role?
BillMcneal : interestingly, the judge just said (couple of days ago) that she can't overturn the request to drop the case because it's not her decision to say what's right or wrong; she's only deciding based on the case she was presented and what the law says
sonvzvezdnuyunoc : omg seriously you expect me to read these sheets
CaptainJack : Like OJ simpson?
sonvzvezdnuyunoc : i get it, you love judges
BillMcneal : there will always be loopholes but that's why we pay taxes, so congress can refine the law
sonvzvezdnuyunoc : there is no good principle that could make a sane human being want to be a judge of=n somebody's mind
CaptainJack : the more money and influence you have, the less the law affects you
sonvzvezdnuyunoc : that was my initial point
sonvzvezdnuyunoc : life*
BillMcneal : yes there is: wishing to evaluate cases according to a pre-established system called law
BillMcneal : it's like being a sports referee, only with bigger consequences, but it really is the same
sonvzvezdnuyunoc : let me translate: making a sound career
sonvzvezdnuyunoc : feeling like a god
sonvzvezdnuyunoc : not the same at all, sportsmen dont go to electric chairs\take lethal injections
sonvzvezdnuyunoc : dont get locked up for life according to referees decision
BillMcneal : like i said, bigger consequences, but in those cases, trials tend to be judged by a jury, and not by the judge
sonvzvezdnuyunoc : you gotta be so fcking sure about your decision making
BillMcneal : the judge only passes the sentence, doesn't decide if the defendant is guilty or not
CaptainJack : jails only school petty criminals to get worse
BillMcneal : i kind of agree with that statement
sonvzvezdnuyunoc : yes luke which makes these "loopholes" as you called them, ie human factor, even bigger
BillMcneal : ok so what do you propose? :P
BillMcneal : let the saudi king decide all sentences?
CaptainJack : he most likely does in his kingdom
Verntuzo : Caray me entró un sueño
sonvzvezdnuyunoc : you seem to read by your buttocks, i only stated that there isnt a good human quality which would lead to such career choice, i didnt say shut down the system
sonvzvezdnuyunoc : no need to get all defensive
BillMcneal : but the good human quality is wishing to make the system work
CaptainJack : THE SYSTEM, exactly lol
sonvzvezdnuyunoc : lol and being able to bet human lives on your decision making
sonvzvezdnuyunoc : plus, try good career instead of these buttercup motivatioons
BillMcneal : again, jury duty
Verntuzo : you seem to read by your buttocks que quiere decir eso bill?
sonvzvezdnuyunoc : lol Vern
BillMcneal : in your fantasy world there are no judges and therefore no justice, so where's the good human quality there
BillMcneal : it's a typical expression from odessa, vetu
CaptainJack : Having been a prisoner for some time, i feel it's only right to rebel in their cause :/
Verntuzo : Por un momento pensé que mal
sonvzvezdnuyunoc : sigh... still reading with your buttocks. I never said "take down the judges and penitentiary system", i simply made a statement about psychology of the choice
BillMcneal : a simplistic statement
BillMcneal : statements imply things
sonvzvezdnuyunoc : well you couldnt suggest any good motivation, so
BillMcneal : but i'm tired today
BillMcneal : yes, the motivation is "somebody has to do it, and that thought alone is good, doesn't make you god"
Verntuzo : Yo no estoy cansado pero tengo sueño
