2346351 charliedontsurf : Isn't life a gift of God?
2346352 charliedontsurf : Isn't worshipping God being grateful for life, even when it
2346353 charliedontsurf : s often difficult?
2346354 charliedontsurf : I love life in many ways and hate it sometimes too, life everyone else
2346355 charliedontsurf : like*
2346356 Norah19 : yes i know it is a gift but i'm bored of feeling bad then good then bad then again good , it never ends these two states!
2346357 Norah19 : i want to be happy forever!
2346358 charliedontsurf : Yes, we all do
2346359 charliedontsurf : Are you still taking care of your mental health?
2346360 Norah19 : maybe my mental health isn't working 100% of its ability but my heart is still very sound
2346361 Zetaaa : hi guys... hope i'm not interrupting anything
2346362 charliedontsurf : Hi Zetaa, long time. No, we're just chatting
2346363 charliedontsurf : Norah is in a little funk
2346364 Zetaaa : a lot of funk going around these days
2346365 charliedontsurf : You were in therapy and schiz meds before
2346366 charliedontsurf : lol Zetaa
2346367 charliedontsurf : lately = since the beginning of time
2346368 Zetaaa : do you have any advice on patio renovation... keeping old cast iron railings vs. new aluminum
2346369 Zetaaa : and composite board vs. real?
2346370 Norah19 : i'm not depressed! i just realize the reality of this life on earth
2346371 charliedontsurf : I don't
2346372 Norah19 : the life isn't perfect!
2346373 charliedontsurf : Exactly, Norah
2346374 charliedontsurf : We all do the best we can, right?
2346375 Zetaaa : i guess it is wrought iron not cast but ok thanks anyway
2346376 charliedontsurf : Depends on your place I guess
2346377 charliedontsurf : Nothing wrong with wrought iron for a vintage look
2346378 charliedontsurf : My sister likes that look, not steampunk but vintage
2346379 Zetaaa : my understanding is wrought is a lot stronger and more durable, but less resistant for the paint job
2346380 charliedontsurf : Then don't paint it, keep the rustic, rusty look
2346381 Zetaaa : also i would need to adapt the wrought a bit for the new patio dimensions and almost nobody works with that anymore... like nobody
2346382 Zetaaa : maybe this one guy
2346383 charliedontsurf : That would be like using real wood flooring and then covering it with carpet lol
2346384 Zetaaa : rustic rusty lol... i like that
2346385 charliedontsurf : That's the allure of wrought iron, keeping it the natural aged look
2346386 Zetaaa : the rust really does seem cosmetic
2346387 Zetaaa : also flaky paint tho
2346388 Zetaaa : character i guess
2346389 charliedontsurf : Different strokes for different folks, Arnold!
2346390 Zetaaa : maybe i should just forget the whole project
2346392 charliedontsurf : Tossin' in the towel already?
2346393 charliedontsurf : You don't sound energized for it
2346394 Zetaaa : it is all original from like '58 and looks rough but i suppose it should hold another decade or two
2346395 charliedontsurf : There are people that look for that look, but it's hard to find. Some people keep old awning, metalwork, etc from demolition sites and sell it for big money
2346396 Zetaaa : ok more advice... me and my girlfriend have 6 months off to go anywhere... where do we go... thinking maybe peru and costa rica... any thoughts?
2346397 charliedontsurf : It's just a matter of finding them
2346398 charliedontsurf : I've never been to those places, but my niece and her family went to Costa Rica last year and loved it
2346399 charliedontsurf : 6 months is a long time to be off. How'd you pull that off?
2346400 Zetaaa : i love tropical vibes
2346401 Zetaaa : altho miami was quite doucebaggy
2346402 charliedontsurf : Then play "Cheeseburger in Paradise" and call it a day
2346404 Zetaaa : she is nurse and i have a government job so we both have the option as a benefit... we don't get paid but we can spread the reduction over a few years so we still keep getting a check
2346405 charliedontsurf : What did you not like about southern Florida? Try Key Wes!
2346407 Zetaaa : i loved the vibe of little havana... felt like a different country... and i love puerto rico... tropical
2346408 charliedontsurf : I drove from Utah to Key West 4 years ago, put 7,000 miles on the car in a month, and loved it
2346409 charliedontsurf : So you went to Calle 8?
2346410 Zetaaa : but for example almost no bookstores for the size of the city... hardly any microbreweries
2346411 charliedontsurf : Watch the old Cuban guys play dominoes lol
2346412 Zetaaa : very superficial and glam as they say...
2346413 Zetaaa : i did get to domino park a few times
2346414 Zetaaa : or go past it
2346415 Zetaaa : i was around calle 8 yes
2346416 charliedontsurf : You tried a Cuban sandwich and Key Lime Pie?
2346417 charliedontsurf : Visit the Everglades, see Biscayne Bay?
2346418 Zetaaa : had the cubano sandwich... missed the pie
2346419 charliedontsurf : Plenty to do, you can find pockets less touristy
2346420 Zetaaa : did the everglades boat tour
2346421 charliedontsurf : lol yeah the airboats are fun
2346422 Zetaaa : went to a happy hour at the univsersity of miami biscayne bay location
2346423 Zetaaa : the wetlab
2346424 charliedontsurf : Driving from Key Largo to Key West is fun
2346425 Zetaaa : i didnt even know you could drive from one to another
2346426 charliedontsurf : Some islands near Key West have pygmy deer
2346427 charliedontsurf : Yes, it's just over 100 miles of highway going over the water, connected keys like Marathon
2346428 charliedontsurf : And Key West is a party town, very relaxed
2346429 charliedontsurf : And Hemingway's place is open with a bunch of 6-toed cats haha
2346430 charliedontsurf : Norah, still here?
2346431 Norah19 : yes ,i'm listening to my arabic song
2346432 charliedontsurf :
2346433 Norah19 : www.youtube.com/watch
2346434 charliedontsurf : Norah, that's too worldly for me :D
2346435 charliedontsurf : At least you have English translation
2346436 charliedontsurf : OK I'm out, getting hungry. Good luck to both of you, have a good one!
2346437 charliedontsurf : Time for bed, Norah :D
2346438 Norah19 : bye travis, may Allah make you happy, ameen
2346439 Zetaaa : me too going to eat... adios amigos!
2346440 Norah19 : bye zetaa, may Allah make you happy too , ameen
2346441 Norah19 : www.youtube.com/watch
2346442 CaptainJack : To, too and two, sounds like a typical spanish driver :)
2346443 CaptainJack : lol, a jumper in verde
2346444 CaptainJack : too lazy to type an actual name
2346445 CaptainJack : defo a gordo american :)
2346446 CaptainJack : My boiler is broken
2346447 CaptainJack : The balanced flue pressure switch is kaput
2346448 CaptainJack : Should i just bypass it to get warmth, or risk Carbon gas leaking into the house because the exhaust fan isn't working?
2346449 CaptainJack : the fan is actually working, well it turns.
2346450 CaptainJack : I ordered a new pressure switch, it's old and lasted well, 24 years, not bad, millibars are a relatively small measurements
