CaptainJack : being in a cellar is not so bad
BillMcneal : i mean, i get the offense
BillMcneal : but... in general we should learn to ignore people, really
BillMcneal : it's the way to go
CaptainJack : should we though?
Lynx : being in a cellar with wine bottles?
CaptainJack : sometimes we live in a shell and critisism is good
BillMcneal : criticism is good if you're responsible for the well-being of others
BillMcneal : when it comes to your own fate, criticism is worth very little
BillMcneal : so let's be clear what we mean by "criticism" here
jdawg78 : Criticism is taking something from the past, washing off the ugly parts and reselling it for more than it's worth.
CaptainJack : you think im not responsible for others?
BillMcneal : haha dawg, you're an evil man...
Verntuzo : Buena tarde a todos
jdawg78 : At least it should be.
BillMcneal : jacko, i'm saying that you can be criticized for a myriad of reasons, and most are irrelevant
jdawg78 : Star Wars, the next generation. LOL
PauLa : even living in a shell there will be some raven who wants to pull your eyes out
BillMcneal : you can be criticized for the way you dress, or the way your raise your children; the latter is important and should be considered, the former is utter rubbish
jdawg78 : Just criticize the person on the way the offer criticism.
jdawg78 : they offer-
jdawg78 : Like the jelly sandwich approach.
jdawg78 : (a real thing)
BillMcneal : what?
jdawg78 : You tell the person the good things they are doing while at the same time talking about the things they need to work on.
CaptainJack : I actually feed the ravens ( crows) on my dog walks. If i feed them they kill less to survive. They really like dog biscuits and raw sausages
jdawg78 : The jelly is the good bits, but wrapped in the criticism.
jdawg78 : Lucky ravens.
BillMcneal : you're playing god, jacko
BillMcneal : <criticism>
jdawg78 : Quoth the Raven, Nevermore!
BillMcneal : who said what anyway, i haven't seen any real criticism here in... well. never did!
BillMcneal : or never have
CaptainJack : Im being logical
CaptainJack : :p
CaptainJack : Crows are like 7 year olds
CaptainJack : recognise faces
BillMcneal : logical, or intelectual, cynical
CaptainJack : much like here :D
BillMcneal : intellectual*
jdawg78 : I saw a crow kill a baby bunny.
jdawg78 : On Easter.
BillMcneal : well, that's great
jdawg78 : It still haunts me.
BillMcneal : it's the circle of life, or something
CaptainJack : I know Jd, thats why i give them an eco friendly option
CaptainJack : they all have their own designated areas
jdawg78 : So the sausage is a cow or pig that's been killed instead.
BillMcneal : ok but this is the result of your actions:
jdawg78 : And what if the bunny's over populate now?
PauLa : do you mean karma?
BillMcneal : the ravens will eat more and more of your food, reproducing at a faster rate, at the same time their prey reproduces faster
BillMcneal : eventually you die and nobody is there to feed the ravens; a massacre ensues
CaptainJack : its from asda jd, could be anything
BillMcneal : your original good action that was aimed at reduced killing ends up producing a massive slaughter
CaptainJack : i am only here half the year bill
CaptainJack : they adapt
jdawg78 : And now there's climate change!
BillMcneal : doesn't matter, i just wanted to accuse you, i don't have anything better to do this time of the day
jdawg78 : And stupid shows on Netflix.
CaptainJack : they actually fly only a few feet from me now
PauLa : someday they will bite your nose
CaptainJack : im sure most think im nuts
jdawg78 : And peck out the eyes of people coming to his door selling insurance.
jdawg78 : Good deal.
BillMcneal : why? they're just ravens, cover your eyes if they attack and you'll be fine
CaptainJack : why would they attack?
BillMcneal : because they're wild animals
CaptainJack : its not an alfred hitchcock film lol
CaptainJack : the birds
PauLa : the birds
jdawg78 : The raven's: The sausage king must be protected at all costs.-
CaptainJack : muy lenta
CaptainJack : lol jd
jdawg78 : -Hi, we're here to tell you about the good news of Jes...ahhh. my eyes!! Run!
BillMcneal : they have the intelligence of a 7 year old, they WILL peck at you
jdawg78 : 7 year olds do that too
CaptainJack : more likely to empty your pocket
CaptainJack : i think its good to get the trust of natural preditors
BillMcneal : i was watching the pidgeons at the park
BillMcneal : somebody had been feeding them bread
BillMcneal : and there were some crumbs next to my feet
CaptainJack : wood pidgeons bill?
BillMcneal : so they slowly advanced, trying to see if i was going to catch them or not
BillMcneal : i don't know, just birds
CaptainJack : or flying rats?
PauLa : the last word I´ve heard from a man when a lion went to him was : Help!!
BillMcneal : think is that once they realized i meant no harm they freely walked around me
CaptainJack : wood pidgeons have a white ring around the neck
BillMcneal : and then they started getting aggressive against one another
BillMcneal : like humans, you know
BillMcneal : even when there's prosperity, there are a-holes
BillMcneal : haha pau
