Lynx : la comida está para chuparse los dedos
Lynx : the meal is deserving of sucking my fingers
CaptainJack : the spanish say that?
Lynx : it's an expression
jdawg78 : In english, finger licking good.
jdawg78 : It used to be a slogan for KFC.
Lynx : don't take it literally
Lynx : national election tomorrow :) what will happen?
Lynx : who knows...
jdawg78 : I work.
jdawg78 : So nothing for me. LOL
Lynx : lucky you
CaptainJack : nothing will change regardless who sits in the seat
jdawg78 : se girará la tierra de todos modos.
CaptainJack : we have ours in december, the 8th I think
CaptainJack : It will be interesting to see how it all pans out
Lynx : what a mess the Brexit
CaptainJack : will the Brexit party split the Tory vote, will the Lib Dems get lots of votes as the only remain party. who will actually vote for Labour?
Lynx : Boris apologised for not fullfilling his promise
CaptainJack : His hands were tied i think
Lynx : yes, he did his best
Lynx : what about the UKIP? will they be reinforced?
CaptainJack : I hope the tories get in or worse the Brexit party :D ( UKIP)
CaptainJack : UKIP ae trying to make a deal with the tories, to only field one candidate between them, so not to split votes
CaptainJack : if the tories or UKIP win, Scotland will go independent for sure
Lynx : they are the main UK party in Brussels
Lynx : I think
CaptainJack : I think they are
Lynx : it's interesting
Lynx : they are in Europarliament but not in the UK
CaptainJack : They could do well in this election
CaptainJack : they are advocates of No Deal, the extreme leavers
Lynx : do you think a majority is willing to leave the UK in Scotland?
Lynx : in that case
jdawg78 : Okay, time for lunch.
jdawg78 : Hasta luego!
Lynx : enjoy it
CaptainJack : yes, I think the last vote was lost on mostly being told by the UK government and Europe ( who have since relented) that we would not be in europe if we split from the UK
CaptainJack : Enjoy, lol
Lynx : yep, it's a different scenario
CaptainJack : Most scots want to stay in europe I think, but it's hard to say
Lynx : maybe a probable reunification of Ireland?
Lynx : Northern Ireland also voted to remain
CaptainJack : Its all but done in the deal I think,
Lynx : what a mess
CaptainJack : no boder between north and south
CaptainJack : the border is between the mainland and all ireland really
Lynx : there's a new right-wing political party here
Lynx : it's said it will be 3rd after tomorrow's elections
CaptainJack : Its why the DUP are not helping the tories now, despite being bought off with tens of millions of £ of taxpayer money
CaptainJack : who is expected to win there?
Lynx : socialist party
CaptainJack : They are for the workers?
Lynx : one thing is winning and another one is governing
Lynx : they won't have enough votes to do it
Lynx : yes, they are like Labour party
CaptainJack : Thats better then?
Lynx : I don't like the socialist candidate
CaptainJack : they will fight for workers right s and increase pay and allowances
Lynx : nope they will deteriorate the economy
CaptainJack : so they don't care about workers?
Lynx : negotiations and coalitions will be necessary to govern
Lynx : they are weak making decisions
CaptainJack : sometimes they are good, one party negotiates with the other for the best ideal way to go forward
Lynx : i'm tired of all them
CaptainJack : c, none can lie flat in a bed for sure
Lynx : sicked*
CaptainJack : who is alondra that looks in the window then runs, lol?
Lynx : the scenario was completely different years ago
Lynx : there were only 2 parties that switch the seat
Lynx : now there's a wide range of options
CaptainJack : yes, you used to get politicians with morals, few if any have them now
Lynx : I don't have the faintest idea
Lynx : you know? in difficult situations people want leaders who speak clear
CaptainJack : i think all are tired of the normal politicians and parties, we would vote for a one legged donkey if it had a good heart compared the politicians these day
CaptainJack : The problem here is no one can decide what is best and the leaders hang on by trying to please people that don't know what to do
CaptainJack : at least the Liberals have stated clearly they will ignore democracy and cancel brexit lol
Lynx : I don't why they are delaying Brexit
Lynx : they thought they would leave with their conditions
Lynx : and that was not real
CaptainJack : because they all think for whats best for them, not what they were put in place to do
Lynx : cancelling a referendum is not very democratic
CaptainJack : for Labour to insist in taking No Deal of the table was crazy, it removed any credible negotiation for the UK, it was a surrender motion
Lynx : they all know it
CaptainJack : Democracy is actually dead here now, the politicians no longer serve the people and elections are meaningless
Lynx : do you think the European Union is a failure?
CaptainJack : I think its a great success in most ways. The failure I think is it became a monster. Dictating to all and listening to few
CaptainJack : They thought they had so much power none could fight it
Lynx : I agree
Lynx : but it's not a real union either
Lynx : in some cases
Lynx : only a monetary one
