BillMcneal : but her case is... hmm
BillMcneal : what do you call it when nothing new happens?
PauLa : the fact was in Guatemala
BillMcneal : i don't understand trials, it's a weird world
BillMcneal : really?
BillMcneal : how (?)
PauLa : well I'll give you my opinion
PauLa : it is really hard to prove all this situation
PauLa : besides it can be prescribed (prescripto)
PauLa : 10 years
PauLa : I think it is a feminist movement against men power
PauLa : like I happened in here
PauLa : but…..who knows?
BillMcneal : so it didn't happen here in arg? i actually took my time to read the código penal today
PauLa : no, it was in Center America
PauLa : so the guy must go there
BillMcneal : but i didn't understand what the statute of limitations is, like in an article it says "crimes that get life imprisonment - 15 years", and then it says 20 in a different article (?)
PauLa : and hire a lawyer
BillMcneal : the movement you're talking about is a mixture of a lot of disaparate causes, that's why i'm skeptical about some of the things they say, but not when there's such a clear case of rape, there's a witness in fardin's case
PauLa : tu gobierno sacó una ley donde dice que todos los delitos de este tipo no caducan
PauLa : pero el hecho que se denuncia fue hace 9 años
BillMcneal : ugh i tried reading the goddarn law and corresponding article and couldn't find that
PauLa : y la ley no es retroactiva en este caso
BillMcneal : but rape has always been a crime
PauLa : the only witness is a guy who brought her a key
BillMcneal : it's like what happened to people involved in the dictatorship
PauLa : nobody Heard a noise
BillMcneal : the law said one thing... then it said something else and they were prosecuted
BillMcneal : are you sure? i remember reading the guy opened the door
PauLa : she didn`t cry as it seems
PauLa : I read other thing
Macuahuitl : Hola gente
BillMcneal : i think darthes should hire you :P
PauLa : that is why I said it is rather hard to prove
Macuahuitl : Hola, Paula.
PauLa : it is so obvious
BillMcneal : sure, how many years after it happened, 10? back then they would have found forensic evidence
PauLa : right!!!
PauLa : but it is said the girl has "an old injure"
BillMcneal : on the other hand he hasn't even given a convincing reason why they would falsely accuse him, he hasn't even argued that they just want to benefit economically
Macuahuitl : paula porque me ingoras? >.<
BillMcneal : and like a friend of mine says, "silence is golden" :P
Macuahuitl : *ignoras
BillMcneal : but how do you probably connect an old injury to an old crime, it's unreasonable
PauLa : yes Bill, but what I can`t understand is why so many girls are doing this
BillMcneal : unless the witness' version of the events matches hers
PauLa : of course it is
BillMcneal : accusing people of rape? maybe because it happened (?)
PauLa : es algo muy "vidrioso"
PauLa : time is the principal factor, I think
PauLa : why now?
PauLa : why not 9 years before?
Macuahuitl : paula y luke
BillMcneal : because it's a time when women feel comfortable enough to come out and tell what happened, i can understand that
BillMcneal : maybe she was scared she'd lose her job, it's a difficult experience to go through
PauLa : that is what the girl says
PauLa : come on
PauLa : and her parents?
PauLa : and her Friends?
PauLa : well enough !!
BillMcneal : some people are extremely reserved, it takes many people a long time to denounce things, not just her
PauLa : you seems to be Jon
BillMcneal : let's be honest here, the only reason this is "controversial" is because, 1 - they're public figures, and 2 - the group that is supporting her is seen by many as "kind of shady"
BillMcneal : damm blab
PauLa : can you read me?
BillMcneal : now i can :P
PauLa : the principal support of the girl is the ex of Suar
PauLa : Darthes is doing a novel from him
PauLa : so???
PauLa : damn pc
BillMcneal : not your pc
BillMcneal : happens to me too
PauLa : no?
PauLa : what a relief
BillMcneal : so, griselda siciliani is one of many faces, but they have become a group that lobbies for a bunch of stuff at the same time, and that's hardly honest behavior
BillMcneal : it's like when children argue with each other and use any and all possible arguments to "win"
PauLa : I agree , and?
BillMcneal : and i don't like that :P it's what i was saying last night
BillMcneal : doesn't mean the girl wasn't raped, from the looks of it darthes has no alibi
